Integrative Pain Medicine

To the contacts

Chronic pain limits life in many ways.

It often dominates everyday life to such an extent that hardly any activity and joy of life is experienced. Many people withdraw, become depressed, can no longer work and are unable to participate in social life in the usual way. The future seems limited.

Integrative multi-modal pain therapy at the Havelhöhe Community Hospital tries to break the often existing vicious circle of pain - tension - restriction of movement - hopelessness - intensification of pain. Understanding biographical contexts is just as important as looking into the future.

We see people in their physical, mental and spiritual dimensions and regard them as individuals with their very own needs and development opportunities.

All this is to strengthen you so that pain is not the all-dominant content of your life. You should regain more self-activity, interest and joy in life and thus increase your quality of life.
