Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy

To the contacts

Physical symptoms of illness can often be an expression of psychological stress. At the same time, physical illnesses can burden the mind.

In our Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy we treat patients with all illnesses affecting the mind and body. Separate from this, in a different setting, on the same ward, is the treatment of addictive disorders. We work with different multi-modal therapy concepts to support affected patients in dealing with and coping with the condition.

There are three inpatient treatment settings

  •  for adult psychosomatic patients (from 28 years)
  •  for young adult psychosomatic patients (18 to 27 years)
  •  for the co-treatment of somatic patients in the non-psychosomatic areas of the hospital (geriatrics, integrative pain medicine, interdisciplinary addiction medicine, interdisciplinary intensive care medicine, breast, bowel, lung centre, general oncology, palliative medicine, gastroenterology, gynaecology and obstetrics)
