Interdisciplinary Addiction Medicine

In our department for interdisciplinary addiction medicine, we treat patients with substance-related addiction disorders.  Motivational treatment for addicts [qualified withdrawal] takes place in a multi-modal setting with anthroposophic therapies. 

Treatment focus

The main areas of treatment include

  • Alcohol dependence
  • Drug dependence
  • Opiate addiction (heroin, opioids)
  • Cannabis addiction
  • Cocaine addiction
  • Addiction to synthetic drugs (crystal, crystal meth, amphetamines, ecstasy)
  • Addiction to new psychoactive substances (NPS), so-called legal highs (e.g. synthetic cannabinoids, synthetic cathinones)
  • Dependence on volatile solvents (e.g. GBL [γ-butyrolactone], GHB [gamma-hydroxy-butyric acid or liquid ecstasy])
  • Dependence through multiple substance use and use of other psychotropic substances
