Geriatric Day Hospital

To the contacts
Geriatrie

If there is no (longer) need for acute inpatient treatment, but (still) a need for intensive geriatric rehabilitation treatment, you may be considered for admission to our Geriatric Day Hospital. The day hospital combines the therapeutic and medical services of our anthroposophic hospital with living in the home environment. This can avoid or shorten a full inpatient hospital stay. During the week, you will be brought from home to the day hospital in the morning by the transport service. In the afternoon around 3:00 pm the transport service will take you back home. Wheelchair users can also be transported. Independent care should be guaranteed at home (or with the help of relatives or a care service). In our appealing, bright rooms you can have lunch, rest and exercise independently in addition to the medical-therapeutic services.
