Surgical Treatments
When conservative treatments aren't successful
When conservative treatment methods are not (longer) sufficient, the prerequisites for surgical treatment are met. There are several standard procedures:
Surgical treatment of urinary incontinence
- TVT (tension free vaginal tape)/TVT-O (tension free vaginal tape-obturator)
- Burch colposuspension
- Surgical treatment following vaginal prolapse
- Pelvic floor reconstruction
Surgical treatment of the various forms of faecal incontinence
- Defective anal sphincter
- Dorsal/ventral rectocele
- Anal and rectal prolapse
- Haemorrhoids
