Sleep Medicine

For an extensive and expert diagnosis of sleep disorders, we have the latest generation of devices to carry out tests ranging from the screening of sleep apnoea through to polysomnography. Automated analysis of sleep protocols is reviewed manually, making it possible to reliably identify disorders such as sleep apnoea, hypoventilation syndrome and restless legs syndrome.

In cooperation with the Havelhöhe Breathing Centre, respiratory support (e.g., with BiPAP) can be initiated for patients unable to undergo outpatient screening in the Sleep Clinic due to severe concomitant illnesses.

Patients who need adjustment of CPAP or BiPAP devices are usually treated as outpatients, and receive further treatment with the cooperation of the Havelhöhe Sleep Clinic and the Sleep Medicine Centre.
