Nursing service

Our tasks as carers are many-sided, and we can present here only a small extract. Following points represent specific features of our nursing care service:

• Modern wound treatment as part of interdisciplinary wound centre
• Transition of care
• Nursing care consultation by incontinence
• Introduction to nursing care of infants
• Breast feed consultation and breast feed café for mothers
• Nursing and psychosocial supervision of pain patients
• Care of dying patients is a matter of particular concern for us. There is a palliative ward in our hospital and we closely collaborate with the Hospice Christophorus, which is located at our premises.

The Hospital Havelhoehe has no nursing care school of its own. To educate professional caring personal we collaborate with the training institute of the Wannsee School. The trainees are supervised by our practical trainers. Moreover, we help students of nursing care studies and nursing care management to conduct their practical and semester projects and surveys.
