What does first aid imply?

During emergency treatment, a physician of a respective department on duty will examine you. To make a diagnosis, we can use the entire diagnostic and therapeutic spectre of an emergency hospital (x-ray, CT, endoscope, ECG, cardiac catheterisation). After initial treatment, the physician in charge decides whether an outpatient treatment by your family doctor is possible or you must be admitted to the hospital.

In which cases you should be admitted to the hospital?

If you must be admitted to our clinic for further treatment, we will try to find a bed in the respective department for you. For patients with internal illnesses, who are admitted after 16:00 or who must spend only several days in the hospital, an admission ward with 10 beds is available.

In case of longer stays, you will be transferred to the respective department the next morning.

We apologize for any inconvenience

We try our best to make waiting times for you as short as possible. Since the patients with serious illnesses must have a priority, sometimes long waiting times cannot be avoided.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
