1947 The damaged building is liberalised by allied forces; planning of a TB hospital begins
Feb 2nd 1950 Opening of the right wing of the house 9, which can accommodate 112 patients. The clinic is managed as a department of a city hospital Hohengatow
1954 Opening of house 11, the clinic has more then 450 beds and is the biggest TB hospital of Berlin
1954 - 1962 Construction of further buildings, among them transforming a former casino building into a house with 120 beds and a solaria
1976 Centralisation of all city hospitals of Spandau into a “Hospital Spandau”
Oct 1982 Moving of the department of internal medicine and surgery of Hohengatow to a local area Havelhoehe, since then an general hospital of acute care
Jul 1994 Department for psychiatry was taken over by an Augusta-Viktoria-Hospital
Jan 1st 1995 The hospital with 318 beds was transferred under the governing body of the non-profit association for support and development of anthroposophically enhanced healing art e.V. Berlin” and received the name Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Havelhoehe (Hospital Havelhoehe)
