The General Internal Medicine Unit with key treatment areas of Haematology / Oncology (Ward 12) is located on the ground floor of Building 23.
Mistletoe therapy and other concomitant therapies for cancer from the sphere of anthroposophic medicine are carried out alongside chemotherapy and immunotherapy in our Cancer Therapy Centre. In addition to immunomodulation therapy, mistletoe therapy is also used to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.
The holistic approach to treatment includes individual therapy through dialogue, art therapy (painting, clay modelling and music), eurhythmics, rhythmic massage and nursing measures such as compresses and liniments. These therapies are designed to stimulate self-healing and help the patient cope with his/her illness.
The following services associated with oncology are offered:
- Treatment of all types of cancer
- Wide variety of chemotherapy protocols
- Integrated anthroposophic therapy
- Complementary mistletoe therapy
- Anthroposophic nursing
